Winsor & Newton Promarker pens are alcohol-based markers that are available in an extensive range of colours. They are primarily used within the sound industry to colour microphone cables and capsules to match performers’ hair colours. We recommend preparing the cable before colouring using a Zoff or alcohol wipe; this helps the plastic coating of the microphone cable to absorb the ink from the pen, ensuring a longer lasting finish. Please note, due to the recent acquisition of Letraset by Winsor & Newton, some pens may be delivered with Letraset branding. The Letraset ProMarkers and Winsor & Newton ProMarkers are identical, differing only in branding.
