These solvent-based paints are specially formulated for plastic model kits but are versatile enough for a wide range of surfaces including most plastics, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard, sealed plaster, and sealed hardboard.

Key Features:

• Application Advice: Apply directly from the tin with a brush, or use an airbrush for more precise application. For airbrushing, thin with Humbrol Enamel Thinners (2 parts paint to 1 part thinner). Apply two thin coats rather than one thick coat for best results.

• Drying Time:

  • Matt: Touch dry in 20–40 minutes; hard dry in up to 24 hours.

  • Gloss: Touch dry in 1–2 hours; hard dry in up to 24 hours.

• Coverage: A 14ml tin covers approximately 0.3m² depending on the surface and application thickness.

• Clean-up: Clean brushes and tools with Humbrol Enamel Thinners while the paint is still wet. Once dry, the finish is permanent.
