DPA d:screet™ CORE 4061 Omni Miniture Mic - Loud SPL

The 4061 Miniature Omnidirectional Microphone shares the same acoustic characteristics as the 4060 model but is specially calibrated to handle higher sound pressure levels (SPLs) without compromising its acoustics.

This microphone can effectively manage sound pressures up to 144 dB peak before experiencing a 10% total harmonic distortion (THD), making it an ideal choice for capturing audio from exceptionally loud sources such as certain musical instruments and human voices when positioned in close proximity to the sound origin.

Compared to the 4060, it is approximately 10 dB less sensitive. This reduced sensitivity is advantageous for concealed applications, such as discreet mounting on a theater performer's head or forehead. In such applications, the sound pressure level is approximately 10 dB higher compared to a chest-mounted lapel microphone.

The 4061 Miniature Omnidirectional Microphone is available in four colour options: black, brown, beige, and white. Additionally, a more rugged and heavy-duty version of this microphone is also offered.
